Bari sports chief Giorgio Perinetti admits the club is still angry with Antonio Conte over his departure this week.
"It was a traumatic separation. We had made an important investment on his contract, then something went awry when we made a point of the situation," Perinetti said.
"It's better that it happened now rather than going into training camp and finding ourselves in this situation on July 16.
"We are still bitter. Conte is a very good trainer and we made a good choice in hiring him and then confirming him.
"But he has his own ideas. He is a consistent man and consistency is a good point, but he has to be more flexible.
"I don't know how close he was to Juventus "
