Vincent Pericard wants to stay at Carlisle after revealing how he is relishing the challenge. The former Stoke striker has bagged six goals for the Cumbrians since joining on a short-term deal in October, helping United turn from relegation candidates to play-off contenders.
The Cameroon born forward's stay at Brunton Park is scheduled to end on January 12, and his form has brought him to the attention of other clubs.
"From Saturday, I can say it is going to take a lot for another team to make me an offer I can't refuse," Pericard told the News and Star.
"I am happy here. And the challenge of starting near the bottom and getting to the play-offs is really something."
