Vincent Pericard is desperate for a chance to prove his worth for Stoke City.

Speaking to Stoke City's official website, Pericard said: "I think I am ready to give it a go in the league now.

"I have scored a few goals now, I feel extremely confident and I want to show the manager and the supporters that I am getting back to my best.

"It's frustrating sitting on the sidelines on a Saturday afternoon but I am doing everything I can, both in training and in the reserve games.

"I am full of confidence at the moment and I am desperate to bring that into the first team."
