Veteran Ryan Giggs felt Manchester United's display against Real Sociedad on Tuesday night was good enough to capture all three points.
United were held to a 0-0 draw by the Spaniards in San Sebastian but midfielder Giggs was of the belief that his side should have come away with a maximum booty instead of a share of the points on offer.
"We controlled the game, had two or three great chances and probably should have won the game," Giggs told ITV1.
"We're happy with the performance but disappointed we didn't get the three points.
"If you get a point away from home and win your home games then you usually go through, and we're on course to do that at the moment, so hopefully we can finish the job off.
"We'll try and win the group, and although we've two tough games, we're up for the task.
"We've already played Shakhtar and Leverkusen so we know what they are all about, but we're confident we can go through."
