Florentino Perez intends to create the position of chief executive at Real Madrid - should he win this summer's election.

Perez wants to introduce the new role similar to what Adriano Galliani enjoys as vice-president at AC Milan.

The man he wants to take up the post is his former sports director Jorge Valdano, whose powers would go beyond the pitch.

As president, Perez's profile would be more discreet than last time round, with the face of Real becoming Valdano.
