Real Madrid presidential candidate Florentino Perez has an agreement with Lyon star Karim Benzema, it has been revealed. Perez has struck a deal with Benzema's agent, Karim Djaziri, says defensacentral.com, over a five-year contract. The agreement was reached during a meeting in Geneva, where Perez also caught up with AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Now the former Real president will make contact with Lyon supremo Jean-Michel Aulas to thrash out a fee for Benzema. Perez knows Aulas is a notoriously difficult negotiator and will be relying on Benzema to help smooth talks.
