Perez finally set for home Central Coast Mariners debut

Central Coast Mariners' Argentine import Patricio Perez will finally make his Bluetongue Stadium debut on Saturday.

The talented attacker has had a stop-start beginning to his A-League career with injuries and suspension cutting his game time right down but he plans to show the Mariners fans what he can do against the North Queensland Fury this weekend.

"I'm relaxed and motivated to do well on Saturday, I'm really looking forward to it," Perez said.

"It is my responsibility to create different opportunities. The fans can expect me to have a real go on Saturday night."

Perez admitted it was a big move to leave Argentina for Australia but with the recent arrival of his wife, is feeling better about the situation.

"It's great to finally have my wife here," he added.

"It was a big change for me to come to Australia. To now have family with me makes a big difference.

"All the disappointment of early in the season is over now."
