Andreas Pereira has claimed that he decided to stay at Manchester United because it is the best club in the world.
Pereira was linked with the likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain before committing his future to the Red Devils in April and the 19-year old Belgium-born Brazilian midfielder is delighted to have stayed put at Old Trafford.
"I wasn't busy with all the things that came on the news about me," he said. "I was just focusing on my football here.
"I knew I wanted to stay at Manchester United because United is the best football club in the world.
"I want the people around me to like me. If you feel confident and people show they like me and know I have potential. I am very happy to stay here."
