Luis Perea is confident new Atletico Madrid signing Thiago Motta will make a big impact.

Perea said of the former Barcelona midfielder: "Every player that arrives is welcome and especially with the conditions and the qualities of a player like Motta. He is going to make us better, so hopefully he gets to full fitness soon and can help us on the field."
