Pepe Mel has declared he wants to stay with West Bromwich Albion.
Mel oversaw a crucial win against West Ham United.
When asked whether he would like to remain, he said: "Of course. I think the job is only half done and, if I'm given the opportunity, I think I can do a good job here.
"It is a very difficult job and there have been too many difficult situations.
"But I think together we've been able to overcome these problems and today we find ourselves with West Brom pretty much safe. I really am extremely happy for the fans.
"Today they've once again shown they are the best fans in the Premier League and today we can all go home happy.
"Are we safe? No, there are still nine points to play for and we need to try and get three more."
