Wales boss Chris Coleman has leapt to the defence of star player Gareth Bale ahead of the Euro2016 qualifier against Belgium.
The Real Madrid ace has been a subject of constant criticism from Madrid fans and the Spanish press alike for his below par performances for the majority of last season.
However, Coleman believes Bale would get the recognition he deserves if he played for any other club.
"It is all down to the club. The league is physically and tactically different but at Madrid you have to win and with style," he said.
"They are not called Galacticos for nothing - they expect excellence. If you don't win or if they think you are not performing you will get stick.
"But people underestimate Gareth. He has a real determination inside him to progress and show people that either they are right to class him as one of the best or to prove himself to people who doubt him."
