Jermaine Pennant is keen to sign permanently with Stoke City.

On-loan Real Zaragoza winger Pennant, 27, has given manager Tony Pulis a huge boost ahead of today's visit of Liverpool by revealing he is keen to stay at Stoke.

He said: "I don't see why I shouldn't stay long term.

"Myself and the family are settled and we're enjoying it.

"I've been happy with my form but I think I can still get better."
