Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant admits Danny Higginbotham's knee injury has given the squad a jolt.
Pennant admitted Higginbotham's injury had cast a temporary cloud over the Stoke squad, but he is confident the one-time club captain will eventually bounce back.
"He's made a magnificent contribution after getting back into the team," Pennant told The Sentinel, "and it was his goal against West Ham that got us into the semi-finals.
"I'm sure he's gutted to have the rest of his season spoilt like this, and we are gutted for him.
"But I'm sure he will be there at Wembley cheering on the rest of the lads."
