New Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino is set to meet his players for the first time today, according to reports from the Daily Echo.

Mauricio Pellegrino had been appointed as the new manager of Southampton recently and the Argentine will surely be looking to make a good impression when he will meet his players for the first time on Thursday.

The likes of Oriol Romeu, Virgil van Dijk and Shane Long will be among those heading back for pre-season fitness testing.

And Pellegrino will be looking to use the opportunity to interact with them for the first time and possibly also discuss their immediate futures at the club.
