Pellegrino handed £75m to kick off West Ham revolution

West Ham United are set to hand new manager Manuel Pellegrini a massive transfer budget of roughly £75 million, according the Evening Standard.

Pellegrini will also have a chance to add to his budget with all the players he can manage to sell during the off season.

"There is no final figure but the budget will be flexible," said a club source to the Evening Standard.

Pellegrini is targeting around four or five players as he attempts to reshape the West Ham squad for a better season next term.

The Argentine manager has ambitions of leading West Ham into the European places, which will require better players.

The likes of Manuel Lanzini and Sam Byram could be players who are sold to make way for new arrivals.
