Manchester City want to bring Arjen Robben back to England this summer. The Bayern Munich wing ace has been unsettled by their signing of Mario Goetze from Borussia Dortmund and fears for his future under incoming coach Pep Guardiola.
City are keeping tabs on Robben's situation and have already alerted the former Chelsea midfielder's representatives of their interest.
Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini, who is expected to replace Roberto Mancini as City manager, worked with Robben at Real Madrid and has claimed in the past the Dutchman was sold to Bayern against his will.
City chief Txiki Begiristain has disucssed Pellegrini's transfer plans with the Chilean's agent, where Malaga winger Isco and Robben were mentioned.
Begiristain has recognised the lack of quality wide players in City's squad this season, with Scott Sinclair expected to be ushered out of the Etihad in the coming months.
