Manuel Pellegrini wants his Manchester City to put in a much-improved display when they tackle Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
City were beaten 3-1 at home by the Bavarian giants in early October - their only loss of the group stage - but their boss is expecting a better result at the Allianz Arena this time.
"We have qualified for the next round and that is very good," he said at his press conference.
"It's important to improve on what we did against Bayern at home, we didn't play well and we need to improve the image we gave of ourselves in that match."
City currently sit second in Group D on 12 points from five matches which has them three in arrears of Bayern and requiring a 3-0 victory to finish top of the group.
