Manuel Pellegrini is on his way back to take charge of Manchester City in Hong Kong.
Pellegrini to rejoin the squad here on Tuesday afternoon following the death of his mother.
The Chilean left City's training camp in South Africa on Thursday and dashed back to Santiago to be at the bedside of mum Silvia.
She sadly passed away over the weekend and 59-year-old Pellegrini stayed on to attend a funeral planned for today.
He is expected to then take a flight over to the Far East where his players arrived this morning for the Barclays Premier League Asia Trophy.
That means he should be ready to take charge of open training at the local stadium on Tuesday night - and will be in the dugout for fixture against South China on Wednesday.
