Incoming Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is set for crunch talks with Carlos Tevez.
The Daily Star says the 29-year-old is also open to signing a new deal at the Etihad Stadium if City want to keep him.
Tevez has been integral to the club's recent success under Roberto Mancini, who was sacked earlier this week.
Pellegrini will take charge next month when Malaga complete the La Liga season in Spain.
He will also hold talks with Gareth Barry, Edin Dzeko and Joleon Lescott.
But Pellegrini has put discussions with Tevez top of his list.
