Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has put the brakes on a bid for AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy.
The Daily Express says according to reports in Italy there are no new offers for El Shaarawy, 20, on the table from the Citizens, with Pellegrini not interested in him.
Former City manager Roberto Mancini was the man driving the club's bid to sign El Shaarawy, while new boss Pellegrini has set his sights on Malaga winger Isco.
