Villarreal fans can be happy with their summer transfer signings, says coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Goalkeeper Diego Lopez has arrived from Real Madrid, defender Joan Capdevila from Deportivo La Coruna, while midfielder Rio Mavuba was snapped up from Bordeaux.

Pellegrini said: "The new reinforcements are going to make a great contribution to the squad. Now the players are in a period of adaptation, but I am sure that they are going to increase the potential we have with respect to the last year."
