West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini, has also been asked to clarify his comments about supporters leaving the London Stadium early during last Saturday's defeat by Bournemouth.

"It's not a criticism of the fans. It's more that I think the team really needs the fans," says the Chilean.

"If we are losing 5-1 or 4-1 in the last few minutes, you can leave early, but we were losing 2-1 and we all need the fans - the team, the owners, the manager, the fans - to help us get the result we want.

"Just to clarify, I feel the fans are very important to us."
