Pellegrini expects Aguero to continue scoring ways for Man City

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is expecting star striker Sergio Aguero to continue his hot streak in front of goal.

Aguero has been plagued by injury problems this season but whenever fit, the striker has been banging in the goals for City.

Aguero was on top form once again when grabbing a brace in City's 2-2 draw against West Ham United on the weekend and Pellegrini has now stated that he expects the Argentine superstar to continue his good run of form in front of goal in the coming weeks.

The manager said: "It's very important for our squad.

"If Sergio continues scoring two goals every game, it will be easy to finish the season.

"I hope he will continue playing the same way. Playing the way we do, it will be easy for him to continue scoring."

Aguero's double against the Hammers backed up his brace against Crystal Palace the weekend prior and he now sits on 12 league goals from 16 appearances.
