Manuel Pellegrini says moving to Real Madrid is a "dream come true".

The former Villarreal coach was unveiled by Real yesterday and declared: "It's hard to explain the emotion and pride I feel having been chosen to coach the most important club in the world. It's a dream come true."

Pellegrini continued: "I knew that one day I would end up coaching Real Madrid.

"I have had the good fortune that Florentino has put his faith in me to look after this great project and that I arrive here with the correct amount of experience. I am convinced they have chosen the correct person.

"I have the experience of these five years in Spain. There is always pressure at big clubs. They demand the best from you Sunday after Sunday."

Pellegrini expects to be working with the biggest names in football next season.

"Without giving names, if this club is going to sign, it's going to sign great players. We can go on naming all these names, 20 names if we want but it doesn't matter since it is all part of this great project planned," he added.
