West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini believes his players were not offensive enough against Wolverhampton on Saturday in a 1-0 home defeat.
The Hammers recorded their fourth straight loss after conceding in injury time and the Chilean has regrets over the first half display.
Still, the former Man City manager thinks the hard work on the training ground will eventually pay off.
"I see the players working well in the whole week," he said. "In the games they're not doing so well.
"The first 45 minutes was not a team playing here at home. They left the possession of the ball too much to the other team. In the second half we improved a lot, had some chances but made a mistake."
