New Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini has welcomed this week's double capture of Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"It is a very important time for Real Madrid, the club has welcomed Florentino Perez in a managerial capacity and Jorge Valdano as a person linked to all areas of the football hierarchy.
"So now they're putting a great team together and obviously these players want to play for Real Madrid," said Pellegrini.
"There is a fixed number (of reinforcements) we are trying to assemble for the squad, not a team. We all know that Real Madrid has three competitions (Champions League, League and Copa) to compete in."
Real Sociedad goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has been linked with Madrid and Pellegrini added: "I prefer not to comment further on the speculation, because there are many names of players who might come to Real Madrid, regardless of whether they are all very good players, including Claudio Bravo."
