Manuel Pellegrini has leapt to the defence of shot-stopper Joe Hart, after the England international's error very nearly cost Manchester City victory over Norwich on Saturday.
With City leading 1-0 in the dying stages of the contest, Hart spilled Robbie Brady's cross, allowing Cameron Jerome to draw Norwich level with just six minutes remaining.
Thankfully for Hart, Yaya Toure bailed him out by converting from the penalty spot in the 89th minute to ensure City emerged with the win.
"Joe Hart and all the players are human, they make mistakes," Pellegrini told Sky Sports.
"It doesn't matter, we won the game, maybe if we lost the two points, we would talk to him, and give him trust that he has saved us a lot of other games. I think that Joe is very strong, a good professional.
"Of course, he's not happy but these things happen, and we don't need to talk with him because he knows what we think of his performance."
