Southampton striker Graziano Pelle is urging the club not to dwell on their Europa League humiliation.

Saints crashed out of Europe on Thursday night at the play-off stage after a disappointing 2-1 aggregate defeat by Danish champions FC Midtjylland.

“I'm sure with the quality of our group and with everyone believing in us, it is a good opportunity for us to do really well and get back on track," said Pelle.

“The fans have been supporting the club for a lifetime and, of course, they are free to think many things.

“We have to give them back the feeling that we can have positive moments.

“The club has improved a lot because of the great support and together we can win the game against Norwich and get back on track."
