Pele has told AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato not to consider a move to Chelsea. The legend said: "Pato is a great player for the future. But if I were him, I'd never leave Italy for England. In those parts, it would be more difficult for a player with his technique."

Asked about AC Milan's prospects under rookie coach Leonardo, Pele added: "I know Leonardo very well. And he's serious and knows Italian football by heart.

"He will also be a good coach."
