Former Stoke City star Mike Pejic has welcomed talk of signing Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha.

Pejic wrote in The Sentinel: "I see Stoke have been linked with Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha on loan in the January window.

"He certainly wouldn't be a bad signing, but maybe not where everyone would think.

"For Zaha is not just a winger, he can also play off the front man, as he did when threatening Stoke in more central areas in the FA Cup last season.

"He's got fine control in tight areas, is a good dribbler who commits defenders and he also finds pockets of space to prevent defenders marking him."
