Charlton Athletic boss Bob Peeters is confident fans have quickly forgotten about Diego Poyet.
The young midfielder moved to West Ham United in the summer - to be replaced by Yoni Buyens.
Peeters enthused: "I played with Yoni when he was 17 and I saw great potential in him then.
"As soon as Standard gave me a hint he was available, he was the first player I signed. At the time, there were issues with Diego Poyet.
"Poyet was a great talent but I knew within two months no one would even mention him any more."
