Pedro Leon has pledged to give his all for new club Real Madrid.
The former Getafe midfielder was a surprise signing made by Real coach Jose Mourinho last month.
"I didn't hesitate when my agent told me that Real Madrid were interested. This is the club I always dreamed about playing for, so when I found out about their interest I made sure it would happen," Pedro Leon told Marca.
"Zidane was always my idol and now I am lucky enough to play where he did. This is where the best players in the world have played.
"Jose Mourinho makes us work extremely hard. He has a close relationship with all the players and all you have to do is look at his trophy collection to understand how good a coach he is. I am sure he will put together a great team.
"I will play my heart out for this team. I know it won't be easy and I know I have a lot of things to improve, but I am more than capable of making progress, especially at a club like this one. Whatever is supposed to happen will happen and I will never give up. I hope to play here for many years and to win many titles."
