Pedro form has Barcelona rethinking bid for Man City's Robinho

Pedro's free-scoring form has forced Barcelona management to rethink their plans for Manchester City star Robinho.

Barca plan talks with City officials later this week in Abu Dhabi about a January deal for the Brazilian.

But Pedro's stunning form has seen coach Pep Guardiola tell sports director Txiki Begiristain to put the brakes on talks for Robinho.

Pedro struck twice in Saturday's victory over Real Mallorca and his form has him now being tipped as a late gatecrasher for Vicente del Bosque's World Cup squad.
