Morten Gamst Pedersen is prepared to stay with relegated Blackburn Rovers.

Pedersen, who signed a new four-year deal in May 2010, has been linked with a move away from Ewood Park.

But the Norway international insists he will honour his contract at the club..

He said: "There have been some speculation and questions from the media about my future.

"My response to that is that I have a contract with Blackburn Rovers and I intend to honour that."
