The Norway international denied protests by a section of Blackburn fans, who are demanding for Steve Kean to go, have affected the team.
"Our football has spoken for itself in the last week and the last few weeks," Pedersen said.
"Everyone who has been on the pitch has shown commitment to Blackburn and worked hard.
"Hopefully we can show that again against Chelsea. We want to make it really hard for them and we want to stick together and show everyone we can be a good football team.
"We've done well against the big teams before at Ewood so why can't we do it again?"
