Morten Gamst Pedersen is excited about being part of Sam Allardyce's Blackburn Rovers.
The Norway winger told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We have been really unlucky with injuries. Last year and the season before we did not have those problems so it is always going to be your turn.
"Every year one team has that problem so maybe this year was our year. We just had to handle it.
"What can you do? You have to work hard with the players you have got and hopefully we can get everyone fit for next season.
"We have got five first team players out. Half of our team was out, we are looking forward to next season and when everyone is ready to play.
"There will be more competition, players will be sharper, so it is almost like new signings without spending the money on them. I am looking forward to some more good times next time around."
