PEC Zwolle boss John van 't Schip insists Philippe Sandler will move to Manchester City this summer.

The defender, 21, agreed to join City in January - though there has been no official announcement from the Premier League giants.

However, van 't Schip says: "Yes, he will really get a chance.

"I believe that the entire Manchester City squad will play in the World Cup, so the preseason is an excellent opportunity for Philippe to work with Pep Guardiola and also to play.

"At the moment it is too much to ask (to play for City). Philippe is a very talented player who still has to learn a lot. If he can train in the preparation for the new season and play some matches..."
