Pearson won't accept Leicester are down

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson refuses to give up on beating the drop.

The Foxes were held to a 0-0 draw by visiting Hull City in a game they had highlighted as a big chance to get back to winning ways.

"We've got 10 games left, six at home and we probably need to win five. Today's game shows how tough it can be," he said.

"We are in the same sort of position as before. We have six games at home so our home form has to be drastically improved to give us the best chance.

"Today I think the players expected to get three points, so it is disappointing to come away with one.

"To get the three we needed to be more committed to our attacking play.

"I'm not sure we could have played any more of an attacking style, but if players are having a bit of an off day they're having an off day.

"We had an indifferent day with the ball."
