Pearson unhappy Leicester allowed Burnley equaliser

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson was left disappointed blowing two points after their 2-2 draw at home to Burnley.

Pearson revealed his frustration after admitting he was annoyed at the Foxes' failure to hang on at the King Power Stadium.

Ross Wallace struck deep into seven minutes of injury time to deny the hosts a second home win of the season.

He said: "I'm annoyed today, we should win the game. We're better than we were last season and I don't think they are as good as they were on today's performance but what they do have is spirit.

"It's disappointing to drop two points because whatever the circumstances are we should have won the game. I don't think they caused us too many problems.

"It was scrappy game, they didn't come here to play any fluid football, they came to be difficult to beat. We didn't do enough with the ball but we still looked comfortable.

"It felt like a Championship game, there was not a great deal of fluidity to it."
