Manchester United midfielder Ben Pearson is proud to have won the Jimmy Murphy Award.
Pearson won the club's U18 Player of the Year gong last season.
"It was a massive achievement, and I certainly didn't expect it, but I played well. We had quite a good season overall, apart from the FA Youth Cup. It was a bit of a freak game against Burnley and we were a bit unlucky. I played in both legs of the semi-final against Chelsea a year earlier and they had a good team. I know a few of their lads from England and they were a strong side," he told manutd.com.
