New Derby County executive chairman Adam Pearson is confident of attracting fresh investment.
The new chief is confident they can attract investors and has an ideal scenario in his mind.
"It would be a mix on the board of local businessmen and external investors. They can get the marketing and brand awareness they want and we can continue to understand the heritage of the club," he said.
"Such a mix would be the ideal scenario, but if that's not the case and it's a huge overseas conglomerate, then we will look at that and make sure they're the right people for the club."
