Pearson can sense new focus at Hull City

New Hull City chairman Adam Pearson can sense a new spirit at the KC since his arrival.

Pearson believes the club has emerged from one of the most eventful two weeks in its history as a stronger unit, having benefited from finally waking up to the reality of its situation.

"It has been a really long two weeks," Pearson admitted to the Hull Daily Mail.

"But now I think fans are aware that the club is in a difficult financial environment and hopefully we can all come together in the realisation that we haven't got the chequebook way of getting out of trouble. It's just not open to this club.

"I think that it has needed some re-focus and some direction and hopefully I can do that."
