Stuart Pearce is ready to select David Beckham in his Great Britain squad for the London Olympics.

The LA Galaxy star, who is out of contract next month, will accept Pearce's offer to play and former Manchester United team-mate Ryan Giggs is expected to follow suit, says the Sunday Mirror.

The 18-strong men's squads must contain 15 players who were born on, or after, 1 January 1989 - but three players can be older.
