England U21 coach Stuart Pearce was pleased with their 1-1 draw against Norway.

Pearce, who stars in the insurance firm's new TV ads, saw his kids book their place in the Euro 2013 play-offs thanks to Sunderland striker Connor Wickham's first-half strike.

Pearce, who is looking to lead his squad at a record fourth successive Euros, said: "To win seven out of eight group games isn't easy.

"But we know we full well we're going to have to play much better next month to get to the play-offs."
