England U21 boss Stuart Pearce is excited by the group of young players he has at his disposal - particularly Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor and Arsenal's Theo Walcott.

"We've got some fantastic players here. Gabri (Gabriel Agbonlahor) is scoring goals week-in week-out and Theo (Walcott) is starting to play more at Arsenal and showing the player he is," he said.

"We've got a really good squad and we're gelling well. It would be nice to qualify and really have a go at going one better than last time."

England face Bulgaria tonight in their latest Euro2009 qualifier.
