Former Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce has confirmed he's in talks with Nottingham Forest.
Previous boss Billy Davies was sacked by Forest owner and chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi last week and Pearce appears to have made a u-turn.
"I'm still chatting with Nottingham Forest," Pearce, 51, told talkSPORT.
"That will continue. That's the best I can say at the moment.
"Forest have always been well supported whatever league they've been in, there's a rich history there.
"It's a great club and one that's very close to my heart."
