England U21 boss Stuart Pearce says Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is best served being with his squad.

Chamberlain scored a hat-trick in Iceland last week and is hoping for a repeat performance against Norway tonight.

Pearce said: "Alex would have learned much more playing 90 minutes for the Under-21s in Iceland than going with the seniors to Montenegro and not playing. It's about playing football."
