West Bromwich Albion chairman Jeremy Peace expects to have a new manager installed by Saturday.
The Telegraph says Peace, the chairman, has finalised his shortlist and is confident of making an appointment before Saturday’s trip to West Ham United.
Former Real Betis coach Pepe Mel is a top contender.
Mel is understood to have seen Albion officials over the weekend.
