Giampaolo Pazzini is confident he made the right decision in staying with Fiorentina this season.

The striker said: "I am convinced I will get my chance to play regularly. I know it will be difficult with so many good attackers here, but I am confident in my ability.

"The squad isn't too big because we have to play in three competitions. It's always difficult for players when they're forced to the stands or dropped off the Champions League list, but that's the reality of football."
