Fiorentina have confirmed that striker Giampaolo Pazzini has agreed to a new contract extension.

Pazzini will sign his new deal when he returns from international duty later this week. Agreement was reached between Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino and Pazzini's agent Tullio Tinto yesterday.
